Well Saturday was a busy fun filled day with Bobby, Annsley and Gabe coming about 8:30 in the morning. He was helping out a worship leader friend at his old alma mater, Indian Rocks Church this Sunday so they were having a 9 AM rehearsal. We started the day around a 6'ish wake up as we anticipated their arrival and which is mu usual roll out time as well. We had a big day planned as Amy was dropping off Ava and Sam right after breakfast so the 4 of them could play. I 'm tired just watching them run around. Luckily we could go outside in the back yard and they could run all they wanted as the morning was rather nice.
Amy, Tyler, Eliza and Bobby all came around the noon hour so we put sandwiches and chips together for a lunch then made plans to go to the beach for a couple hours. The water was perfect with just enough chill to make it comfortable and while the sunshine was bright an occasional cloud kept us from roasting. We had beach umbrellas for little Eliza and of course a cooler with drinks. Bobby, Tyler and the kiddos built a huge sand castle with turrets, waterways and a moat as well as a swimming pool. The kiddos had a great time and I got in a nice swim as well.
After rinsing the kiddos both at the beach and then in the backyard Amy, Tyler and Bobby took the kiddos to Keswick for an Easter egg hunt sponsored by SFBC. They came back with 2 large bags of candy and I could tell they were on a sugar high when they unloaded. We kept little Eliza Faye and she was so cute and finally fell asleep about 10 minutes before the rest showed up. She slept through the initial coming home noise for awhile but the kiddos where just to rowdy. Bobby had made his own pizza dough from scratch and they had been rising for most of the afternoon so he worked on making 3 huge special pizzas which were delicious from basil, mushrooms, bacon, pepperoni and his own tomato sauce; yeow what awesome flavor and we licked the pans clean. Tyler gave the boys a bath together shortly thereafter and then Amy bathed the girls as well because it had been a long day and morning was to come early for Bobby as he had to be back at Indian Rocks at 6 AM.
We finally got Annsley and Gabe in bed by 8'ish after Amy and her gang left for home. It was a
busy fun filled day and I was whipped as well from watching the kiddos running around. They sure have a grand time together and the girls are great together and the boys are doing much better as well with very few sharing problems. I turned the lights out around 11, LATER
