Sunday Morning

Well Saturday was a play and do nothing day as we entertained Nancy's sister Betsy and husband for a late birthday supper as well as her brother Eric and Arianne and the Ross Family. It was late when every one finally showed up to eat around 7:30, oh well.

The day started much the usual with a 6'ish roll out. Eric and Arianne spent the night with us as they along with Nancy go through GG's house checking on what needs to be saved and what needs to be hauled to Michigan or given away and what needs to be trashed. I did my routines then watched them all get ready after a breakfast of bacon and eggs while I stayed with the apple for my start. I did get in a nice hour long bike ride through the hood and hand watered the gardens a couple times through the day. I still have some kind of critter chewing the leaves and top's off of my tomato's during the day. I'm never seen anything like despite coating the tomato plants with Sevin dust. Whatever it was it also chewed the top leaves off of a collard plant.

I watched some good college football with a couple upset games from undefeated teams and only 1 team remains with a perfect season so far and that is the Miami Hurricanes as they destroyed #3 Notre Dame. #1 Georgia was destroyed by Auburn as well. I grilled lots of chicken parts and we had fresh broccoli, baked taters and corn along with a fresh salad and a chocolate cake with white icing. I passed on the cake which was hard to do as well as any bread . So far down a couple pounds but it's hard to do when your eating large late meals.

Well we just got home from church then out to Miller's Ale House for an early lunch. We worked the first service as greeters and then watched the sermon via a large screen TV in the common area of the college where we now hold our two services. Nancy is off to her mom's house to continue sorting, separating and deciding what items need's to be saved or shipped to Michigan, LATER
