Well Tuesday was nearly a perfect day weather wise with temps in the low 50's to start and the highs were close to 80 but no humidity and tons of sunshine. Just beautiful almost like a mountain day at the cabin. I spent the biggest part of the day outside in the morning on the pickle ball court and then again sanding our kitchen table outside by the garage door as well as piddling around in the garden.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then lifted up several during my quiet time for comfort and healing while giving thanks for my many blessings. The "boys" are doing much better as their feeding tubes have been removed and Katie is recovering from her cold so she can see them and be in their room again. Tyler was on his way back to Florida from being in Kansas for his grand mother's funeral so Amy and the kiddos ate supper with us last night. I haven't heard from middle sister Pat who is Paw Paw's care taker in awhile despite leaving messages. I sure hope all is well there.
Well there wasn't much going on except my usual morning pickle ball play which lasted a good two hours of play outside and then piddling around in the garden until I had a bite of lunch before tackling the kitchen table. I took it apart and the began to sand or attempt the several coats of polyurethane which I had applied over the years. Nancy wants Carol who is a master at decorating wood furniture do a number on the table top as I redo the bottom pedestal and it looking like I need to purchase at least three new chairs so she can match the chair seats to the table top, oh well.
Today Wednesday we are meeting with the new internet/tv provider to learn how to use this new system that Spectrum has introduced in the neighborhood. I'm getting rid of WOW which has been very unreliable at times with their service and then charged me 5 months when we were at the cabin after initially putting my service on vacation plus they raised my rates constantly over the supposedly contract period which they never honored, oh well. Lets hope Spectrum is more honorable but the reason I left them a couple years back was they constantly raised my rates, LATER
