Well Thursday saw us with bright sunshine but less humidity as a dry cold front moved through the area. Once again no real rain except for the three foggy morning which did leave some moisture on the ground. I had a good workout on the pickle ball court in the early morning hours then had lunch with Amy and Eliza Faye and read for most of the afternoon. After supper we headed down to Keswick Christian School for Ava's Christmas program.
The day started much the usual with a 6'ish roll out. I had my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator. Shortly afterwards I pedaled out to the rec on my bike for close to two hours of workout on the courts with several other players. I left worn out with a wet shirt around 10.
Nancy decided we needed to go to Sam's Club for items needed for a family supper tonight(Fri.) so off we went. Gas Prices went up 20 cents a gallon overnight but we did see once station on the way that was cheaper than Sam's, oh well. It seems the OPEC oil cartel is jacking up the price once again. We made another stop for fresh veggies before heading home. Amy and Eliza came for lunch and then I settled into reading for a couple of hours after hand watering the gardens. I started a new non fiction read that occurred here in Florida with a murder for hire titled Poison Candy. It's unbelievable the duplicity of this young woman with men and her desire to achieve fortunes. Yeow another black widow but she was caught in a sting and the evidence was filmed by the show COPS. So far the police and prosecutor have a great case against this evil young gal. It's a real page turner.
We had leftovers for both lunch and supper as we cleaned out the fridge. I will begin to harvest some of the lettuces in the next day or so to add to our salad bowl. The garden is really looking good and there is no cold or freezing temps in the forecast for our area in Florida. We spoke with our "mountain mom" and they will be in single digits the next couple of days with a strong breeze which makes it even colder. So far no frozen white stuff except for frost. Ava's program was a hit and the place was packed with family to see the performance. She was beautiful in her new dress we got her for Christmas.
Well the political scene is a real mess and we have lost the main stream media to corruption and biased reporting of "fake news" to help the secular progressives and left leaning special interest groups. It's such a shame they are so bent on helping those who are less than honorable achieve power and control of the government. What is really disturbing is the Potus is part of this duplicity in his regard to see his candidate Hillary continue his reign of ineptness and the further destruction of the nation. I can not understand those who want to see the nation fail with his lack of concern for US(A). I think its treasonous, LATER
