Well Sunday was a great day of worship both here at the cabin as we watched our church which streams live from Bridgepoint Church in St.Petersburg, Fl. and then again at our local place of worship in Sparta, N.C. at Cornerstone. Both messages were a reminder of our ability to be "game changers"for our communities and have a servants heart especially for those who are unsaved. The music in both services was awesome as well. Afterwards we met up with our friends the Tracy's for a delicious lunch at their cabin where we settled in to our home town's football team the Bucs vs the Falcons. There were several up's and down's but we came out on top with a 31-24 win which was big since it was played before their hometown fans in Atlanta.
The day started much the usual with a 6'ish rollout and my routines of a few quiet moments to honor my Creator and especially to remember those who were murdered by muslim fanatics 15 years ago on this date. Just an update on Nancy's Aunt Daryl who is 93. She has responded somewhat positive since the stroke earlier this week but these could be her last days so we made plans to travel to Lancaster, Pa. this week for a visit. We will also visited Paw Paw, my dad who is suffering from a bum knee and his living arrangements make it difficult for him to rest the knee appropriately as he must climb a stairs to get to the bathroom. He is under a doctors care but can not drive or get proper rest and care due to the older house he lives in. We will stay will family at nights on this trip which will be nice.
I won't digress as we have much to do before leaving this morning for Woodstock, Va. except to say the weather turned really nice here in the mountains with cool morning temps. We still haven't had any rain so I will give the garden a good drink this morning (Mon.) before leaving. I'm still picking and giving away lots of cucumbers and will take some with me as well. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers for traveling mercies as well as for healing for Aunt Daryl and Paw Paw, LATER
