Well Friday started out with awesome temps but eventually warmed up to the middle 80's and it was quite hot in the afternoon, so I did most of my outside work early after pickle ball. I got in a good work out on the courts then transplanted some beet seedlings as well as hand watered the gardens. Everything is looking good thus far despite the heat and lack of rain.
I started the day with my before 6 rollout to my routines that begin with quiet times to honor Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all are holding but some better than others. We got word Grant our mountain buddy is not doing well, so keep him and Shirley in your prayers. I had a VA visit to clean out the ears now that I'm making so much wax which is annoying and they cleaned them both out which is a big help, despite using that liquid and a syringe at times during the summer, oh well.
We headed over to Brandon around 3 'ish and it took an hour and half to go 50 miles in all this heavy traffic. We played with the boys then had pizza and salad for supper before heading to the ball field to watch their last playoff game of the season. Bobby's team lost 17-15 in the last innings and it was a close game with the lead change every inning, but since they were up first the other team scored in the last inning to win.
It took us close to an hour to get home and then I hit the shower and watched some UFC before lights out at 10 for me, LATER
