I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator giving thanks and lifting up several by name for comfort and healing. Yesterday was a special of prayer for our potus Trump who definitely needs it with all of the corruption in the past administrations attempt to undermine him with their salacious attacks. They are so afraid he will and now is exposing the crooked folks who have been running this nation into the ground; and now we are learning their attack with this supposedly whistle blower is back firing and the real crooks are being exposed as well as how the biased msm is covering for the dem's. Franklin Graham saw the need as well as do I that we must pray that GOD will protect and keep this man safe from those who are filled with the TDS and we must lift him up daily as he tries to save the nation from the those who want to destroy her.
I took off on my first hike of the day before breakfast which gets the cardio workout I need. I hike non stop to the top of the mountain up the steep backwoods trail to the top and then back down again in just about 15-20 minutes which makes for a great workout. I'm trying to get back into shape for my daily 2 hours of pickle ball play starting the end of this month when we get back to Florida. I haven't had much play this summer as some of the guys have either changed their venues or quit playing all together, at the most its usually once a week but that hasn't happened in several, oh well. We got in another hike together which takes a different route and is longer in distance but with several stops for Nancy to rest. She is on a medication to slow her heart due to tachycadia which she has developed over the years thus she doesn't get the extra heart pumping of the blood when exercising which makes sense to why she needs to rest during the hike.
I piddled around the gardens and yards but not doing any major projects and then spent some time on watching a live news conference with the president of Finland and our potus Trump. He lambasted one reporter who asked the most asinine question and was throughly scolded for not seeking the real truth about these allegations which the dems are proposing he has done to get impeached when in fact they are guilty of the exact accusations. It's mind blogging to think the msm is so corrupt and acting as a front for the dems when they should be seeking the truth and exposing the real crooks and helping to save the nation. Instead they are backing those who are wanting just the opposite at the expense of destroying this man who is exposing the corruption in the government, oh well. We hope patriotic Americans see their duplicity at the next election and vote every liberal dem with socialist ideas out of the gov't and reelect this man who has done more good to restore this nation in 3 years than any other politician in decades.
We tuned into the wild card baseball playoff game that featured our Tampa Bay Rays versus the Oakland Athletics in Oakland, Ca. at 8 PM and it went way passed my bedtime of 10'ish. It was worth staying up to watch the Ray's win in front of over 50 thousand screaming fans and go on to the next series with a Texas team in their bit for a World Series win. The Ray's hit 4 home runs in their 5-1 victory and gave up one run due to a throwing error in the game, LATER
