Saturday Morning... July 6th

Well Friday was another warm, muggy and eventually thunder storms dominated the evening hours and night. We did need some rain but enough is enough for right now and lets get back to cool mornings and dry afternoons with a breeze; anyhow we did see a little sunshine for a couple of hours during the morning which allowed us to get in a hike and do some gardening. I know I'm complaining about the rain but its really not that bad, however it did just about rained out the evening "music on the main" event which closes down the main street of Sparta for pedestrian traffic only as various groups of entertainers play on the street. The head liner got rained out but we did manage to walk around listening to several groups.

The day started much the usual however I did sleep in for a change until after 6'ish. Not sure why but it was daybreak when my feet hit the floor. Everything else was the same that started with the hot tea laced with turmeric and ginger while I posted this ramble then lifted several up to my Creator for healing and comfort. All seem well at this point in time. Our Potus Trump gave a great speech about the history of our nation during the 4th of July celebration and was severely criticized by the MSM and the left but what little do they know as they are the ones dividing the nation with their anti Trump rhetoric.

We are a great nation of very compassionate people and our individualism has made us a nation that loves our freedoms and liberties that have set us apart from every other nation and on top of that we were a nation founded on our Judeo-Christian principles and mores. The left, PC crowd, socialist, muslims and atheists who are such a minority have infiltrated the democrat party and now are in the congress and are trying to impose their will on the majority of US(A) to destroy our heritage and culture. I would never have imagined this could happen but we had a past potus who was never vetted properly and the mess we are in until GOD intervened and conservative American's voted for Trump over the crooked democrat candidate Hillary.

We are now learning just how vile and and sleazy and complicit the last potus Obama and his sycophants were in the dem party and their attempted coup of our duly elected Potus Trump. Trump is doing all he can and mostly with out the help of congress to put America first again with a great economy from his business like policies; folks are working again and regaining some self esteem as well as not bowing down to those who want to destroy the nation. America is waking up under this new leadership of Potus Trump and just think if we had a legitimate congress what else could be accomplished for the good of the American people.  He is fighting not only those who chant "death to America" but those with the TDS in the media, congress and those elites who are in the public eye from Hollywood. It's totally amazing with GOD's help he has righted this ship that was sinking under the dem's and many rino's within the party that elected him.

We met up with our dear friends the Luffman's at the Muddy Creek Cafe around 6 after a stop at the dump and Alleghany Cares for a delicious supper before walking through the street listening to several different bands playing their genre. We visited with many long time associates as the venue turns out a nice crowd despite the threatening dark rain clouds which eventually saw lightning in the distance. We visited the shop of our newest associate who we met at the wedding when we first arrived and made a promise to visit them at their riverfront place later this summer. The lightning was our key to head for the truck and back to the cabin. We got into a massive rain storm on the way home with the wipers going full bore for a few minutes and wondered if anymore trees were down on the parkway; but luckily the road was clear.

Well it was time for a hot shower after watching the Ray's tie the Yanks but I learned this morning(Sat.) they once again blew it with poor relief pitching in the 11th innings, oh my, LATER

Just a few pics of the surrounding landscape of the cabin, garden and the town's "music on the main" from last evening.
