Monday

Well Sunday was one of those days is why you live in Florida in the winter. Highs of 70's with very little humidity and a easterly breeze which made it so pleasant and comfortable. In the shade it made you want to be active. We started the morning with chilled temps after a rain on Saturday night as another front moved through the area. It's much like a Spring morning in the mountains.

We did our usual Sunday morning routine before heading out to Element Church in Tampa as we car pooled with Dan and Carol. Bobby had an awesome message and the praise music was up lifting. There was a nice crowd and we mingled afterwards before heading out. We decided to eat lunch in the old downtown Tampa "yuppy" restaurant that is always busy. The food is all made from fresh ingredients and while its a little pricey the flavors are delicious and the portions are limited. I never saw any fat people eating there. I can't tell you what I ate but it was good with 3 shrimps in a bowl of pasta, corn, lots of fresh green herbs and a yeast roll for 12 bucks. It never had a name and its called ''sit down, shut up and eat what I bring you" and Dan ordered the same thing and his was some kind of beef medallions over a bed of pasta as well. Each order is different  and very tasty. I could have eaten a little more but I was satisfied. The name of the place skips me as well as it's in a strip mall but the place was packed.

We headed home afterward to watch the Panthers lose in a valiant effort against the 49'Niners( a team I once rooted for while living in California) It was a tough game and both teams hit with furious tackles. Many players were left on the field at various times throughout the game. I headed out to hand water the garden in between games then settled in to the second game where we saw the Broncos defeat the Chargers in a close game as well. At half time we had a salad for supper as the lunch did keep rather satisfied.

Well after a hot shower I tuned into the Alaska shows until it was lights out while Nancy flipped channels. This morning I'm fasting as I head to the VA  for a blood drawn with regard to my yearly physical in a few days. I have to be there at 7:15 so I will cut this short. Amy still hasn't had the baby and I will take my gym clothes with me and stop off at the rec for some pickle ball on the way home, LATER
