Well Happy Big Day to my oldest sister Josie(Sharon) who turned the big 70 today . Blessing on her and her family.
Monday was mostly a rain free day until late evening after an all night rain on Sunday. We had over 4 inches in the rain gauge from the day and night before. We were able to get in a hike to the top of the mountain minus Nancy and Amy. The kids had a great time as they finally got out of the cabin and stretched their legs. They all took off around mid morning for Mt Rodgers to hike and see the wild ponies. They had a great time and came back all excited.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my routines that start with some quiet time after posting this ramble to honor my Lord and give thanks for another day while lifting several up for comfort and healing. All are holding and I'm slowly getting a little better or at least more tolerable.
We had a huge breakfast once again which held me through out the day until supper time when I grilled New York Strip steaks which were delicious with baked taters, left over green beans and fresh garden salad.
Well everyone is up so I'll cut this blog short for the day. It's foggy and some rain this morning but the gals are heading to town and Tyler is working the rest of the week until they leave for Wisconsin, LATER
