Well Wednesday was spent babying my lower back as I pulled a muscle on the right side which kept me from pickle ball or any physical activity. I did some piddly stuff that didn't require any heavy lifting. I'm hoping after some massages and analgesic it will loosen up, oh well such is the side effects of growing older.
I started the day much the usual except for lying in bed close to 7. I felt a little better in the lower back muscles but still had that knot which would only loosen up some time later in the day but still painful. I did my morning routines that start with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric and ginger while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. All is well except some up in the Virginia area are once again facing another winter snow storm with freezing temps. What a winter for them this year as well as the Carolinas which also saw snow and cold temps.
I read for awhile after hand watering the gardens and then just took it easy until it was time to make a Sam's Club run for a few items after a light lunch. Mechelle and Allan are do back today(Thur.) from their cruise so we will pick them up at the port sometime this morning and then we are supposed to do some beach time and we guys will fish from the shore. You never know what you will catch as there is always whiting which you see in the surf. We noticed the dolphins were along the beach the other day feeding on them.
I read for most of the day giving the back a chance to rest and heal and Nancy rubbed me down a few times with the cream. I left my hand held ultra sound machine in the mountains by mistake or either I misplaced it as it would be great on healing the knot in my lower muscles. I hadn't used it in years and now I'm thinking I lent it to someone and forgot who, oh well. We had salad, brussel sprouts and a brat for supper. We picked up fresh pork chops at Sam's for our dinner with our guests tonight then another house full on Friday as the Tracy's, the Botbyl's and Patrick's sister and husband are coming for supper as well. We will have 10 adults here for burgers and dogs and the trimming after spending the afternoon at the horse races in Oldsmar. We will take our guests to the airport on Saturday then we will head down to our nephew Austin place for supper with the Ross's. It will be another weekend of gastronomic delights, LATER
