We did take a WalMart trip to pick up some much needed items for the family dinner this evening. We will have 11 adults and 7 kids here so it will be a house full once again and this will probably be our last family dinner before leaving for the cabin on June 3rd. Tyler came by last evening and set me up with a new way of adding photos to my blog and I'm excited about sharing once again.
The day started much the usual with my before 6 roll out to a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric and fresh ginger while I posted this ramble then spent some time with my Creator. All seem well that I lift up daily by name. It was such a beautiful morning and the gym was closed so I set out to work outside until it got to miserably hot. I mowed both yards and the weeded the garden and took down more dying tomato plants before calling it a day for outside work. I had a wet shirt in no time.
Well I picked up chicken strips from Publix and Nancy had tater tots along with carrots and cucumber for dipping in ranch dressing. They all had sundaes afterwards and then I popped them corn for the movie after their showers. I did get to watch the Ray's come from behind and beat the Yanks in extra innings. We watched the horse race and saw for the first time ever a horse throw the jockey off and run the race without a rider.
Well that was about it as I just got back from the load in at BridgePoint Church. Nancy is staying home. I picked another mess of collards for one of the load in volunteers as well as some for our fireman neighbor. Today is our beautiful daughter's 36 birthday and we will celebrate with a big family supper, LATER
