Well Thursday was another work/shopping day in Sparta and the surrounding area. We made the trip to town around 8:30 as I had therapy session with the chiropractor. The back is doing much better but still there are some lingering pain in both the knee and lower back but I do believe I'm on the mend with these extra meds and the sessions. It was work around the cabin as we get ready for company coming this week.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my routines that start with the cup of tea, quiet times and then posting on social media about my concerns and cares for my family, my nation and love of GOD. America, I'm afraid has been highjacked by the radical Left which now includes members of congress calling for a complete take over by the Marxist radical using race as an issue to drive their destruction of our culture and heritage as well as do away with any police presence and any form of law and order. Their needless violence is killing kids and innocent folks and the destruction of private as well as commercial property is paramount to their likings. The only thing stopping them is our Potus who is refusing to concede to their violence but the MSM is on board with their ideology driven by some powerful money folks who hate this nation as well those enemies abroad in China mainly. The democrat congress is in collusion with this movement and its just sickening to think we freedom loving folks are being stripped of our constitution which these Marxist radicals are destroying and absolutely no regard for life. The violence they show is despicable against anyone who they decide to attack whether provoked or not.
Well back to our getting ready for family. We loaded up both freezers and fridges with plenty to hold us for a week or so. I put together the blow up pool on the side deck and filled it with water and got it ready for the sun to heat the water. Nancy was busy making the traditional arriving meal for the family with meatballs and spaghetti sauce. The smell permeated the cabin throughout the day and evening. I did some menial jobs in the basement and around the cabin without overly exerting the back. Its feeling much better compared to last week when I was agonizing in pain in both the back and knee. Its tolerable now and I have enough med to get me trough this visit and hopefully be healed.
I'm picking zucchini this morning(Fri) as they are producing and we will have them ready for the grille in the coming days. We are getting excited about seeing everyone and especially how the boys have matured. We are loaded up with diapers, wipes, baby food and formula and plenty of things to keep them entertained. All of the baby toys have been washed and blankets cleaned as well. We are just awaiting their arrival. They should have left around 4'ish this morning so keep them in your thoughts and prayers for traveling mercies and safety. Hopefully they will get here before dark but when traveling for the first time with 6 month old twins on a long trip it could be rather stressing, LATER
