Well Monday started out with me sleeping in once again after a somewhat restful night. I'm still taking a muscle relaxer and pain pill before turning out the lights. It's helping to at least get a full nights sleep but the dull ache is still there in the lower back and buttocks on the right side. After a cup of hot green tea and a few quiet moments I posted this ramble then I had a lite breakfast of grapefruit and strawberries. Today, Monday I was starting new eating habits so as to reduce the belly fat that is pulling on my lower back and with that loss maybe I can help reduce some of this ache.
I caught up on some paperwork then read for a couple hours until lunchtime. The morning was chilly but with the sunshine it would quickly warm up to the middle 70's by late afternoon. Nancy had the heat on initially but after her morning hike through the hood she came back and started opening up windows and doors. I headed out to hand water the garden. After a lite lunch of a small salad with no bread or crackers I got ready for my 2:30 chiropractor visit. Once again he got some movement in the lower back joints which has kept the real miserable pain away but I'm still experiencing the dull aches. I can live with this pain but not comfortably. I may have to retire my pickle ball paddle for awhile at least.
I did manage to hoe a few weeds in the garden and transplant some lettuce seedlings. I picked another dozen or so tomatoes and enough sugar peas for a stir fry over rice for supper along with some cod fillets. I stayed away from the cookies Nancy made with Ava and Sam after lunch. Ava seems to be much improved after another round of mercury poisoning from Omega 3 which has dramatic influence on her personality. Since she had those amalgam filings put in her teeth by a pediatric dentist a year or so ago,she is very susceptible to mercury even in very small doses. This last round came from Omega 3 in vitamins, smart balance butter spread and Omega 3 enriched pasta. They have her on chlorella a form of algae to help with the elimination of the heavy metal from her body. It's unbelievable the effects of mercury on such a small person. I know there are kids out there who are diagnosed autistic when its mercury poisoning, oh well!!!
We spoke with our mountain mom, Helen and learned it had warm up above the freezing mark in the mountains. She, Martha and Joe are off on a trip to Tennessee on Tuesday. After the supper cleanup we watched the Fox News channel until the Olympics came on and then hit the hot shower afterwards, LATER
