Wednesday evening in Cleveland, Ohio

Well we were up at 6 ish and ready to leave by 8 this morning after a rather sleep less night. I never really sleep well the night before a big adventure despite being somewhat busy on Tuesday and then 2 1/2 hours of pickle ball which left me with a soaked shirt. The trip today saw us stopping several times to walk, eat and then sight seeing at a small town with the worlds largest cuckoo clock called Sugarcreek at a Swiss Village and hour or so south of our destination. The trip was uneventful thankfully except the GPS on my Garmin had us going in circles once we got to the suburbs of Cleveland. Luckily Nancy was able to access the Google Map on her cell phone which took us in the right direction.

We checked into our airBNB and found the host quite accommodating in this large three story home. Our room is quite large with a private bath and just what we need for an overnighter with parking in the back of the house and gated. There is quite a mixture of folks and so far all have been very nice nice. We stopped at a local smokehouse rib place and the single bartender, waiter and server was very nice and the food was delicious with an eclectic group of folks eating and drinking in this small local eatery.

If there was one major complaint of the area its the roads are so full of potholes, rough road and just plain nasty. The old saying here is if you see a driver dodging the holes then he/she is not a drunk, oh well. Anyhow if that is the worst that happens I'll be thrilled. Tomorrow we are on to Michigan for two nights in Lake Orion, LATER
