Saturday Morning Sept 14th

Well Friday was basically an overcast day with a few light rain sprinkles and the temps weren't too chilly. I was surprised at that. We stayed at the cabin all day as we were having neighbors and friends for Sequence around 6'ish. Nancy was busy in the kitchen making salsa, dips and a delicious banana pudding which is favorite of mine. I did a couple outside piddly chores in the gardens and then worked on the old red shed which had a couple of rotten boards that I replaced.

I started the day with my usual before 6 rollout to my routines that start with some quiet times after posting this ramble to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift several up for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. I headed out at day break to do my stretches on the back porch before walking the perimeter of the property to get in my morning talk with the Creator while checking out the gardens for deer damage and to see what project I could do outside this day. I did several laps which is a mixture of steep incline as well as the decline and I would say I did a mile plus which had my cardio elevated at times.

I did some honey do's inside the cabin for Nancy as she goes all out when we are having guests over and that a great thing. I did some reading and catching up on the war in Israel. They are killing the terrorists but now Russia is rattling sabers as well and of course Iran is the culprit at heart and this statement Harris is making things worst with her saying a two state is needed in the area during the debate on Tuesday night. She is such an idiot and no friend of Israel. I do believe we maybe in for another confrontation with China over Taiwan as this state dept is so inept with sleepy Joe still as potus. God only knows how corrupt he is with giving in to bribes and kickback from our enemies.

Well on a lighter note we played several games of Sequence with the gals winning 5-2 in the first match and the guys winning 2-1 in a second match with a winner take all in one final game; the gals prevailed. We had Grant and Shirley and their friend Mark as well our new neighbor Elaine, so it was evenly matched with 3 each on teams. We played for over 3 hours and it was a hoot. We don't have anything planned for today except stay on the mountain as its supposed to be wet weather. We actually could use a good rain as I sowed some grass seeds over the bare areas where the stumps use to be.

I hit shower after everyone left. I blessed all of them with some tomato's and fresh kale and still have plenty for our use. I read until lights out around 10:30, LATER
