Well here we are with a new month and only 22 days until we leave for the mountain cabin, wow I'm excited but also know there is much to do with the two big issues to complete before we go; the back yard fence and the window updates. Oh well, neither are life threatening at this point in time and a reason to abort the mission.
I started out Friday much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my morning routines which start with a cup of hot tea while I post this ramble and then spend some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All are holding as far as I know. I headed out on my bike a little before 8 to the Rec for two hours of pickle ball with some decent players. We did have a couple intermediates which always slows down your game but they only get better when they play against better players so we did a good deed for the day. Next week the Rec is closed due to the POW WOW festival so we will have to go to different venues to play if we play at all.
I stopped off at the library for a couple new reads before heading home to hand water the garden, pick tomato's and then dust the rest with Sevin Dust as the fruit flies destroyed another half dozen over night. I still managed to save at least that many they hadn't touched. I piddled around outside until lunch time then afterwards read the afternoon away until supper. We tuned into the Ray's game and they were getting blown out by Houston so I turned it off and read until shower time.
Today (sat) we head over to Brandon for Gabe's 1 PM baseball game which will no doubt be another hot one, so I'll head to the Rec this morning for a couple hours of pickle ball play since next week will be limited on playing time, LATER
