Monday morning

Well Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise. Once again the humidity stayed away and we reached somewhere into the upper 70's by early afternoon with bright sunshine and blue skies. Wow, almost a perfect day as we worshiped at Element Church in Tampa but then we headed down to Bobby's old house in Riverview to help with cleaning out the few things of his that were stored in the garage. That meeting resulted in some tension as Jill was there to let him in. She never acknowledged Nancy or I and was very curt and short with Bobby but thankfully no real big scene took place. Bob was missing several items that were totally his and she insisted she had no knowledge of where they were or what happened to them, oh well.

The day started out with us sleeping in until nearly 7 then doing our routine for Sunday morning before heading out to Tampa. Dan and Carol were unable to go so we headed out a little after 9. We were warmly greeted and then we worked the door greeting others with hugs and handshakes. Our house church put together Valentine candy in a bag for the E-kids and the leaders were most thankful for that. We had a nice crowd and a few newbies as well. The praise music was awesome and our own Danielle(from our house church) was the lead female singer this week. Jordan did a nice job with the message on peace which is one of the fruits of the vine. We got back to Seminole around 2:30 as another friend and church elder brought his truck to Bobby's and we loaded both his and mine with what was left from the garage. The house had a sold sign in the yard. It was difficult to see and then leave there after so many good memories were once associated with the place.

We came back and cleaned up some of the leftovers from last week and were they ever delicious. It's no wonder I have a spare tire with all of the tasty dishes Nancy prepares. We decided after eating lunch so late that a few nuts and trail mix would suffice us for the rest of the evening and it did. I read and then we watched the Alaskan shows until it was bedtime for me around 10. Nancy woke me up at midnight as she hear the sheriff's helicopter circling the 'hood who obviously looking for someone. We noticed our widow neighbor across the street still had her garage door up so Nancy called her and she shut in. I have my .40 caliber loaded and locked awaiting any intruder. We never worry or are alarmed with someone lurking through the woods at the cabin after dark, oh well, LATER
