I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out and the cup of hot green tea was a welcome as I posted this ramble and then spent some time with my Creator and Lord lifting up several by name. All seem well as I've heard nothing to the contrary. Be sure and keep our duly elected potus Trump in your prayers as the dem's have started impeachment proceeding against him. This is a blow to our democracy because they are so afraid he will expose the years of their corruption while in power especially the last 8 during the Obama years who is responsible for the attempted coup after Hillary lost the election. We the American public would never have known all of the corruption by his administration on the nation and yet the biased MSM has been a front for their crimes and has yet to report on their duplicity. We are on the verge of losing our republic and our culture as well with this democrat controlled house in the congress.
I headed to the Rec. around 9'ish on my bike as it was one of the two days we get the gym until after lunch time. It was a chilly ride against the strong breeze so I donned an extra flannel shirt and ball cap. I managed along with several other good players stay on the courts until nearly 12:30 as we had 8 decent players towards the last couple hours. Most of the B and C's were leaving around 10'ish so we A's could have the gym. It was a slug fest through out the morning with great rallies and close games. I managed to win most every set with a different partner until the last set when I ran out of gas and we lost in a close match. What good play we had and we all left with wet shirts and whupped.
It had warmed up several degrees and the sunshine felt great as I hand watered the gardens. The shade of the oak tree made it necessary to continue with wearing the flannel shirt as I hand watered. It's supposed to warm up by the weekend back to the near 80's which is perfect. The a/c has been off now for a couple days and we haven't opened the windows or doors, oh well. When it chills down to the 50's everyone dons extra clothing here in Florida due to the humidity and the past couple of days we have had that happening.
We headed out around 4 for Keswick to watch Ava's play basketball against Shorecrest School and they has a great couple of players. Ava was the high scorer on their team as she plated very aggressive on defense but they lost in a close game at the end. It seems the holiday days set them back a little from their good play when we last saw them play. The boys who played after the girls was barely winning as well when we left in the 4th quarter after blowing a 10 point lead.
After a lite supper we headed in to watch the Fox Cable news channel and then I headed for the showers and afterwards watch
