Monday Morning LABOR DAY Sept 4th

Well its still dry here in the mornings and all day long with high heat which is up into the 90's. We did manage a hike along the Shenandoah River which is dangerously low, but still full of fishes. We toured around the area before coming back and spending the day inside the a/c. We of course got in a couple of games of Hand and Foot which takes about 2 hours or so to play; the running score is 6 wins for the gals to 5 wins for the guys. I think we are all hooked on this game.

We ate high on the hog as the old country saying goes for breakfast and again for supper with just some snacks during the afternoon while listening to some NFL and college football. We at least got to bed before midnight for a change. It's been a great vacation thus far.

We did worship on line with Cornerstone Chapel with Gary Hamrick where we were intending to go to Sunday morning. Thankfully Dee is feeling much better with the cough just about completely gone but still has some congestion in her head but not enough to put her down from playing the game.

We will stop on the way out of town tomorrow and pick up this famous bacon and then to stop and visit briefly with an old friend at the Civil War museum where she works, LATER
