Monday Morning April 19th

Well Sunday was an awesome morning of worship with our Life group at the new Seminole campus where we shared a breakfast then watched the big screen TV of the simulcast service from the main campus near Tyrone. The praise and worship music was honoring our Lord Jesus and the message that followed. There were close to 25 or so with a few folks traveling. Afterwards we headed home dropping off Dan and Carol. We spent the rest of the afternoon getting ready for an evening meal with them and the Tracy's who are now moving out of the Botbyl's residence and into a condo they just days ago purchased. It's hard to keep up with them as their plans which change almost day to day.

I hand watered the gardens after getting home from church and then settled into the Ray's game vs the Yankees until our guests arrived around 3:30. The Ray's swept them in 3 games. Kathryn was feeling well enough to want to play games so we played a 6 hand Euchre before supper and the gals won 10-9. Nancy had the leg of lamb roasting and the smell was awesome. The only thing which changed from our usual fare was scalloped taters instead of the smashed ones with the gravy which I think is a trademark for roasted lamb, oh well. We had garden salad as well and another fruit salad all of which was delicious. The Tracy's left after eating which all but us and Kathryn had never eaten roasted lamb. I was surprised and they were too of how delicious it was. I never had eaten it until Nancy's mom prepared it.

After The Tracy's left Dan and Carol and us played another 4 hand Euchre and we whupped the gals 10-1 but then we decided to play Spades and gals won big time, oh well. It was fun to play games once again. After the cleanup I headed in for a shower and then it was lights out for me at 10. We got the start of a front moving in with some downpours over the next day or so. On a sad note grand daughter Ave had a major sprain to her ankle over the weekend from playing on a traveling basketball team. It's looking very serious with much swelling and pain. She will be through for this school years athletics, LATER
