Well Wednesday was quite different except for the morning routines which started with a 6'ish roll out. I did my posting of this ramble then some quiet time to honor my LORD and give thanks for another day and then headed out on my solo hike to the top of the mountain while finishing up my talk with GOD then came back and got ready to head out to pick up our "mountain mom" and drive her to Independence,Va in her car for her doctors appointment. Afterwards we picked up Kathryn at her rental cabin and made a couple stops before heading back to drop Helen and her car at her place and then Kathryn and I headed to my place where she and Nancy headed to Galax to shop with just the two of them. It was after 12 before they headed out.
I did stop on the way with Helen at the local library for several reads which they had ready for me that will keep me busy during the afternoon porch setting times. I had a bite of lunch then waited on the bug man from Orkin who came and serviced the inside of the cabin for the first time since last October. They service the outside every other month as its difficult to schedule them for the inside service, oh well. Hopefully they will come again in October for another inside job before we leave the cabin for 7 months. So far the bugs haven't been and issue especially the big black ants which was the reason they were first contracted.
After he left I took off on another full hike to the top of the mountain and across the mountain. The views were awesome on this clear day. It was a beautiful sunshine afternoon and stayed that way for most of the day. It did cloud up a couple times in the late evening and it looked like rain but luckily the moisture stayed away for another day to dry out the ground. Nancy and Kathryn got back from Galax and we took her home and then ordered from the local Chinese eatery some to go food which is always delicious. I had enough leftover for lunch today.
We sat and watched the LLWS game as well as the Ray's game on the laptop. The Pa. team lost big to Texas who will play another elimination game but the team from Hawaii looks unbeatable. Texas lost big time to Hawaii earlier. The Ray's came back after being down a run which I hit the sack at 10'ish to win 3 straight over the Angels. Today is a day game to close out the series withn them, LATER
