Well Monday saw us with some rain by late afternoon and evening, boy did we ever need it. I understand from all the pictures on Face Book the mountains are over running with rain water from the past several days of continuous rain fall. That should really green things up as well as bring on the flowers and grass. It getting closer to our departure time for the cabin and I'm very ambivalent with having to leave our kids and grand kiddos but we must get back up to see how the cabin fared with us being away for nearly 7 months.
The day started out much the usual with a before 6'ish roll out and then my routines and a few quiet moments before riding out to the rec on my bike for some 2 hours of pickle ball. There was a small crowd once again but we managed to get 2 courts in action as well as a challenge court with A players. I had a soaked shirt by 10 and was worn down as well. I stopped off at the library on the way home. Amy brought little Eliza Faye by for me to watch while she grocery shopped so we watched videos and then played toys and listened to the Bose players. She loves music and has the "I can't sit still" effect when any kind of music is playing. Nancy got back a little after 11 from her workout and then Amy, GG and Sam came for lunch.
After they left we read until it was time for supper which was prepared on Sunday so it was just a matter of heating the spaghetti sauce and noodles up in the microwave. That was easy and the cleanup didn't take long either. We settled into the Fox News channel and after O'Reilly came on I headed for the shower and then to watch a little playoff hockey. The Lightning play again tonight in Detroit the third game in the best of 7 series to determine who moves on in the quest for the Stanley Cup. It wasn't long after 10'ish I was watching the inside of my eyelids when Nancy came in and turned the TV off which of course woke me up, oh well, LATER
