Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship both on line and in person at Cornerstone in Sparta. Afterwards we headed to the Pizzeria for lunch with the Frankis Family and had a delicious pan pizza and salad and of course saw several we know from coming up here every year for the past 20 years for 5 months at a time.We have certainly been blessed in several ways and now Nancy seems to have her BP under control with meds.
I had started the morning with my usual well before 6 rollout to my routines after posting this ramble with some quiet moments to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. We spoke with Helen and she seemed in much better spirits and she seems to think it was her phone which caused her to be discombobulated when we spoke with her Saturday afternoon, anyhow she seemed totally different on Sunday morning as we spoke with her on the way to church.
Bobby called a couple times to let us know they won the first 4 games in the tournament and was playing for the championship but lost by 4 runs in the last game. Gabe played great, both at bat and in the field and their record was much better than the Ray's who lost again yesterday, oh well. Dee called last evening to check on Nancy and we are hoping they can come down before we head up for a long weekend with them the first of August. After church and lunch we checked out the Airb&B that Dan and Carol are staying at with Neal and Danielle over the 4th of July when Bobby and family come. That should be a fun week with great eatin', games and activities with them and the grands.
Amy and family get back here late on Tuesday night and will stray until Friday or Saturday before heading back to hot Florida. We will have fun with the grands here before they go and I know Rocky will be happy to see them. He has been a good dog just a little hard headed at times as he likes to roam into the woods. Buddy Steve Nymark is coming up on the 12th for a couple weeks so we will have fun with him as well as eat together and play games at night. We played 4 rounds of hand, knee and foot and Nancy won on the last round so she is up one in wins. Today we head once again back down off the mountain to visit Helen and shop at Wal-Mart and Lowes as we get ready for the Amy and family, LATER
