Well Sunday was a great day of corporate worship both here at home on line with Gary Hamrick at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Va. and then with our local pastor Derek at SRBC. We were back at the second service greeting the many folks who came to worship in the 10:30 service at the front doors. We love this chance we have to volunteer and to meet and greet many new folks as well as reconnect with many friends and believers. We have met so many and became close friends with this chance we have in welcoming folks to worship.
I had started the morning much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet moments to honor Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all are holding with this post. We heard a great message from Gary on line about spiritual warfare and putting on the armour of GOD and then again in person at SRBC about our attitudes toward other believers. It was a great day of worship. We decided to come home and eat a salad for lunch instead of eating out. It was another warm day with temps up into the 80's and no rain. I did hand water the gardens before heading out to church and then again in the late afternoon and something got one hill of cucumbers and wiped it out, oh well, everything else is holding for now and I noticed some small tomato seedlings coming up from some old seeds I had saved from years back.
I watched the NFL the rest of the day and there were some good close come from behind games but our local Bucs were in L.A. and they were getting blown out at half time 31-7, so I cut them off and watched something else until lights at 10, LATER
