Well Bobby and family made it safely here around 4'ish and its been non stop activity since then of course I started the day with a 5'ish rollout and I never stopped working except to eat lunch as well and I slept rather well after hitting the sack around 10'ish. I did my quiet time to honor my lord, Jesus and gave thanks for another day as well as lifted up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. After a breakfast of oatmeal doctored up with some cinnamon, honey, pecans and a banana I headed out to work in the yards and gardens. The dew was still too heavy on the grass to mow so I caught up on a couple other projects one was to hand water the gardens and flower beds as well as sow some half runner beans seeds in the upper gardens. All of the gardens are now filled except the backwoods patch which I'm waiting for the zucchini seeds to sprout and then that garden will be full. I now have radishes up since sowing seeds on Tuesday.
I did get mow around 10'ish which took a good hour and half and then it was put up the badminton net and replace some burned out light bulbs on the front porch plus Nancy and wrestled down the extra mattresses for the bunk beds in the basement where Annsley and Gabe will be sleeping for the next week. I did a few minor cleanups down there as well and got it ready for them. They do well together down there. She will be a senior and he a freshman next year in school. My grands are growing up as I grown older. I'm a blessed man.
Well Nancy had a delicious pot of spaghetti and meat balls ready to heat once everyone got hungry which was around 6'ish. A little fruit of the vine flowed before hand. They had been in their SUV since 5 ish and were ready to run and play which they all did including Nancy and I throwing around a football, sailing airplanes and whatever. Gabe took the twins on a golf cart ride which is a big help as they constantly need entertaining. After eating we got together and played 5 rounds of domino's which is another one of there family traditions like the dinner when they arrive and everyone played with twins handing us the pickers. I had showered after supper so once the game was over it was lights out for me and the twins as they too had showered before playing.
Today old friends and one of Bobby's buddies in the business DJ and Jenny are coming for lunch and a visit then we will head to Sparta for Music on the Main around 5'ish which is the first of the season and takes place the first Saturday in each month. It should be another fun day with playing around here and then visiting Sparta in the evening, LATER
