Sunday Morning in Seminole

Well I finally got back on the pickle ball court this morning for nearly two hours. I sure felt it later in the day with stiff muscles but oh did it ever feel good to run and play the game. We had a huge turnout for the summertime at the Rec. with three courts in action. I sure miss the the exercise and I looked at places to play in the south Florida area for this coming week. I can not laze around and sit in a hospital room for 40 hours a week as its killing me.

I started the day with waking in the spare room until I can get some head phones that drown out Nancy's snoring. It doesn't help that she has a head cold as well which makes it even worst, oh well. I did my usual morning routines which was kind of nice as nothing has been usual or routine the past month. After my quiet time with my Creator I posted this ramble then got ready to ride out to the Rec. on my bike with an apple for breakfast. I'm so over eating out for breakfast at McDonald's or eating out period. We did visit the Botbyl's and Tracy's for a fresh veggie supper which was awesome and afterwards watched the movie The Shack. They asked what was the best part for each person and my response was "when it was over". I didn't hear half of the spoken lines and what I did hear was mumbled plus I didn't think it was all that great a story line. Everyone else loved the symbolism which I could understand but still I now know why I don't go to movies or watch them. I gave it a failing grade which everyone else disagreed with, oh well don't ask for my opinion or maybe I should have kept it to myself.

Well today we meet up with our church family at the Rec. for the 9:30 service of BridgePoint. We missed a get together with the launch team yesterday at one of their houses since we already had plans for the afternoon and evening. It will be good to see some familiar faces of this awesome group of folks who every Sunday morning meet at 6 AM to unload and then set up for the two services and then break it all down and reload the trucks and trailers. The attendance is down somewhat because of summer vacations but overall it's holding and we are meeting the unchurched in Seminole. We sure miss our mountain church family and would have been there by now if not for this set back with GG. I spoke with Josie(oldest of the sisters) yesterday and Paw Paw is living at home and starting to break the rules already by not listening. He apparently fell in the yard yesterday while attempting to get the lawn mower out of the garage hurting his elbow and there is talk that he has been driving already when he isn't supposed to do until September per doctors orders. He has some one who comes in daily and prepares a good meal for him and cleans the house and stays with him but he is already complaining about that arrangement. I would think after being in the hospital for nearly 8 months he would take some advice and listen to the rules that got him back home, LATER
