Well Thursday was much like the day before with awesome weather. I'm just waiting for the big humidity bomb to drop as I know it will soon be heading this way; but so far it has just been great weather and in the shade there is a coolness. The day started much the same as well with a 6'ish roll out then my usual's; cup of tea, quiet time, posting of this ramble and lite breakfast before heading out to the rec on my bike.
We had 8 really good players today with some awesome matches and by 10 AM I was bushed with a wet shirt as well. I stopped off at the library for a new read before pedaling home to piddle around in the garden and yards. It had really warmed up after a chilly start to about the 70 degree mark and stayed that way for most of the day until late evening when once again the temps dropped down enough I had to close the windows.
I drove GG to the hair dressers around 11 and then Amy and the kiddos came for lunch around noon. After lunch Nancy picked up her mother and brought her here for lunch as well. I had a chiropractor appointment at 2:30 so I took off for St. Pete around 2. The roads are congested with vehicles from all over the states. Wow half the country must be here in Pinellas County as it takes 2 or 3 turns to get through the traffic signals. I came back and we read until the NCAA games came on and I was in my glory until it was time for lights out. All of the games I saw were good ones with close scores and even a few upset by higher seated teams. Florida who is ranked number had their hands full until the last few minutes when they won by a dozen points.
We ate fried flounder, steamed asparagus and oven taters' for supper which was delicious and then we both headed for our own remotes as Nancy watched the Idol and I had 2 games of round ball on so I could flip back and forth, LATER
