Well the Ross Family is having their misfortune while traveling to Kansas. They broke down again in Kansas with the alternator going bad and leaving them stranded to get a tow truck 20 miles from any city and 3 1/2 hours from Tyler folks. They did get a tow truck but the rest of the family was dropped off in a town called Emporia by a good neighbor person who saw them stranded along the road. It maybe time for a new vehicle as the a/c went out on the way here from Florida despite spending thousands of bucks at a local automotive shop, then a spark plug stranded them and now this.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my quiet time to honor my LORD and give thanks as well as lifting several up by name. All seem as well as can be expected. I took Rocky for hike to the top of the mountain before breakfast and then we took him again later in the afternoon. So far he has been great after mopping around the first day since his family left him with us. It's a good thing because he would have been a problem with the break downs.
I didn't do any major chores during the day, piddling around in the gardens and yards as it sprinkled from time to time through out the day with overcast skies but just after supper the skies cleared and the sun came out for the rest of the evening. I tuned into the Lightning came and they won again and will head back to N.Y. for game 5 in the best of 7 games . The Colorado team won and will play in the finals against either the Lightning or the Rangers. Go Bolts, LATER
