Monday Morning Labor Day September 7th

Well Sunday was a great day of worship at Cornerstone in Sparta as we took our house guests with us. They were made to feel welcome by our church family and afterwards we made a stop at the Food Lion for some goodies before heading back on the mountain for the afternoon. The weather was perfect with tons of sunshine and bright blue skies. It didn't get much into the 70's until late afternoon.

We started the day with a 6'ish roll out to cups of hot tea and of course they had their coffee's on this cool morning that reached down in the 40's here on the mountain. We had our big meal of the day around 1'ish as we decided to not eat out after church. I shucked fresh corn on the cob and Nancy had sweet taters in the oven and then I grilled a couple bone less rib eye's medium rare and with some crusty bread we feasted  which held me for the rest of the day and evening.

Steve and I got in a long walk/hike to the top of the mountain after lunch and then we settled into a long game of 12 rounds of chicken foot domino's where Nancy once gain crushed us. I was the big loser again. The Nymark's love the game and will be sharing their love for the game with their extended family when they get back to Seminole. We took a group hike around 6'ish to the top of the mountain and the distant views were beautiful. We saw several on top as we hiked across the top.

We came back and I got a nice campfire going on this cool evening until around 9'ish when we decided to head in and resume of game playing. We played one Euchre and the guys prevailed once again on the last hand and then we showed them Kings on the Corner and Sheri and I prevailed in a win of the two games played. It was after 10'ish so we called it a night and I hit the showers and was soon ready for some horizontal lab, LATER

Domino's on the front porch during the evening hours after lunch and then some campfire pics later in the evening.
