Well Monday turned out to be a rather typical Florida day with the heat, humidity and lots of sunshine. The temps were into the low 90's by afternoon but by late evening the high clouds moved in with a nice breeze which made for ideal conditions for working outside until nearly dark; and that's just what I did. I mowed my yards and even helped the gals out next door by mowing their high grass as well. The day started with the usual roll out around 6 and then a few quiet moments before getting ready to ride to the rec for a couple hours of pickle ball. I stopped off at the library before heading home to hand water my new seedlings and pick tomato's.

After a bland lunch for both of us I headed out to the barber shop for an ear lowering and then came back and read the afternoon away.
I grilled a couple chicken breasts then we placed them on top of a fresh salad and called that our supper. I headed out afterwards to do some yard and garden work until nearly dark. The Lightning were in a must win game in Detroit and they pulled it off with a big win 5-2 over the Red Wings. The Ray's didn't fare as well with a loss to the Yankee's 4-1. It wasn't long after the end of the game(s) that I turned the lights out a little after 10, LATER
