Well Friday was another beautiful after a chilly start and it was a fun day all day and evening long. We traveled down to Mt. Airy taking two vehicles and spent the biggest part of the day visiting the 56th annual Festival of Leaves along with thousands of other visitors from all parts of the nation. What a crowd of folks. We did lunch at SOHO's and had a delicious lunch of PHO and a sweet tatter roll which is called sushi but there was no raw fish in it. Afterwards the newbies went with the Nymark's to do the car ride in one of Mayberry's police cars and then we went with the Botbyl's to the Carolina/Virginia vegetable stand for some goodies before heading back to the top of the cabin.
Everyone came around 6 ish for some leftovers and then we settled into some card games and sequence. The guys prevailed in sequence once gain after being down two games. It was a raucous time until time to call it a night around 9:30. We were all tired after the big day down off the mountain and called it a night.
Dan and Carol left this morning for Knoxville, Tennessee to see their daughter who moved there just a few days ago and Ann and James will leave tomorrow for Pennsylvania for a few days and Steve and Sheri with leave tomorrow as well. Sure will be quiet around here for a few days, LATER
