Wednesday Morning Nov 12th

Well winter has sprung here in usually hot, sunny Florida as we had temps almost to the 30's over night and it never reached 60 for a high, yikes. We haven't turned on the heat yet, but I'm sure Nancy is thinking about it, anyhow the stiff breeze made for long pants and a sweat shirt or jacket when outside. I did venture out about mid morning to hand water the gardens and then again around 4'ish to do it again, but mostly spent the day in doors reading. I started a new non fiction read titled THE SCIENTIST AND THE SERIAL KILLER, wow what a true story on the mass murder by a killer of young teens in Houston Texas in the 70's and how many who were never identified were finally laid to rest with a name. I did start the day with my before 6 rollout to my routines that start with some quiet time to honor Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all seem to be holding with this post.

It was Veteran's Day and every thing was closed but restaurants and many were honoring us Vets by giving us free meals, at first I wanted to try Applebee's, but since it was so cold out I decided the Zuppa soup at Olive Garden was the right choice on this cold day, so we headed out around 2'ish for a good meal and then Publix of all places was giving 10% off on your grocery bill so we made a few purchases there and saved a couple bucks. It was stay in the rest of the day and evening.

I tuned into the YOU TUBE channel on the lap top and watched several series on the ALONE adventure in South Africa before hitting the shower around 9 and then by 10'ish I was gone for the night, LATER
