Well Sunday morning was a bit hectic round here as we had all 5 grand kids spend the night for a sleep over. Little Eliza Faye awaken around 5 in the morning so I put her in bed with us and she and Nancy slept until nearly 7. I of course was up at my usual before 6 despite the kiddos wearing you out the night before. They were so good and play great together which is a big plus and Eliza was right there with them as she wanted to be with the big kids. She really has an attachment to Gabe and wanted to be around him as much as possible. He was very kind and gentle with her while Sam puts up with her to some extent but eventually moves her out of his play area. Nancy and Eliza awakened and she made sausage and pancakes for everyone. They all ate well but some wanted different combo's on their cakes and Ava wasn't to thrilled with the sausage. Amy and Tyler came and helped with getting their kiddos ready for church and then they left around 9'ish.
We headed out for Riverview which is just about an hour away on the cross town toll road. The traffic was light for Sunday morning so we made good time. That route is usually a half hour longer during the work week. The kiddos wanted to visit their Sunday School classes so we signed them in and then met up with Bobby as he prepared to go on stage to lead the worship music. We met several who we had been introduced from the last time there and Bobby's position has been a big influence on our recognition and greeting. I mistakenly called Jeff the pastor Craig for some reason but eventually realized my mistake and he laughed it off as this was only the second we had met. The service was awesome and one of the members shared her bout with clinical depression and even lived to tell how her suicide attempt with a gun. She now is into Christian comedy and make light of her failed attempt.
We headed to Subway for sandwiches after church and brought them back to the apartment where we got into the Bucs vs the Eagles. Wow what a game for the Buc's as they annihilated the birds 45 to 17. I settled into football the rest of the day and evening as Nancy headed to the mall for more Christmas shopping. It wasn't long after dark I caught myself nodding off from the busy weekend so I headed into the bedroom to watch the late game and fell asleep several times before finally turning out the light around 10. Nancy soon followed as well. Just having the responsibility for the safety and well being of the little ones tires you out more than the physical and we were exhausted to say the least, LATER
