Monday Morning

Well Sunday saw us change with the weather as the heat and some humidity came back into the picture after a rather beautiful start of the day and my day started around a 5:30 roll out. I had to be at the SPC for the load in of BridgePoint Church which we do every Sunday Morning to get the facility ready for worship. We had a nice crowd with several new faces during the two services and while I greeted at the front doors for the first service I attend the second one then afterwards we headed out with the Botbyl's for lunch at Miller's Ale House in Seminole.

I tried something which always looks so good and colorful but wouldn't order it again as it was huge plate of taco chips with salsa, chicken, sour cream and whatever but mainly chips and I didn't come near finishing it and then Nancy ordered something close to it and she brought half of hers home. We should have ordered two bags of corn chips and condiments much like we make at home but I had to try it but never again, oh well that held us the rest of the day except for a bowl of pop corn the old fashion way on the stove and in a pot with olive oil.

I piddled around in the back yard raking and then using the blower to clean off everything while the sprinkler watered the gardens. I checked with several neighbors offering them as much mulch they could use as I want to get rid of this pile as soon as possible despite the assurances of the firm that removed the tree. I hate to see the mulch not be used instead of being burned up, oh well. I sure have a huge pile and would guess several truck loads. Afterwards we watch a close Duke vs Kansas game for the slot to the final four in basketball. Duke almost won in regulation play but lost in overtime.

We settled in on the couch with our pop corn until then end of the game then I hit the showers and finally watched a little of a survival show which Nancy hates but I find interesting. Anyhow at 10'ish I was ready for some horizontal lab after an early morning start, LATER
