Well Saturday was a wet cold day for most of the morning but we finally saw the sun as late evening approached, but for the most part it was a stay in the cabin kind of day. I did manage a walk around the yards and up the backwoods trail to just get in some exercise but that was all. I watched a lot of college football and then the Nymark's came for supper and it was a game of heart before eating and a couple of games of spades afterwards. Not much to write about. We gave "hand and foot" a rest despite us being addicted to the game.
I did start the day with a sleep in until 7'ish for a change as the extra blanket great in the cool cabin which had me wanting to stay in bed, but I eventually got up and turned the fake fireplace on for some heat to take off the chill and then we had it on until lunch time when the rain stopped. I did my usual routines that start with some quiet time to honor my LORD, give thanks for another day and to lift up several for comfort and healing. I haven't heard how Eddie is doing in the hospital but every one else is holding as I make this post.
We watched the Ray's come from behind to beat the Jays while playing cards and that was another great win for the home team. There are only a few games left to catch the Orioles but they to continue to win as well. Today is corporate worship day at Cornerstone in Sparta and then lunch out at the pizzeria with the Nymark's who leave for a couple of days on Monday to see her mom in Gatlinburg. We will sure miss them, LATER
