Saturday Morning July 15th

Well the Ross Family arrived safely around 6'ish and Rocky leaped out of the vehicle and ran around like it was the best thing ever, especially up into the woods where he does his business. He was in heaven according to his reactions of being back at the cabin. He is such a big sweet goof especially in the mornings as he comes into welcomes us with his tail wagging and making booming sounds against the wall.

Friday started out with my usual 6'ish roll out to my morning routines that start with some quiet time to honor my LORD, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All are holding as of this date. I headed out to check on the gardens and flower beds and we now have 4 o'clocks blooming in red, pink and yellow colors in the circle drive and some orange marigolds showing some colors in the bed by the fire circle. The cone's are showing colors and now I'm waiting on the dahlias to start heading up and blooming. We got nearly a half inch of rain during the afternoon which cleared out the humidity and gave everything a good drink.

I transplanted the rest of the lettuces seedlings as well as several onion seedlings into the now empty garlic bed. The tomato and pepper plants are loaded with fruit as well. The garden over all is doing better than expected and I'm hoping the deer stay away as well. It was a work inside until lunch time with vacuuming the house and doing some house hold chores as we got ready for Amy and family to arrive. Since we had caught up on all our chores and preps we invited Sheri and Steve up around 1'ish to play cards until the family arrived.

It was a gals day as they won both games of Hand and Foot and then after supper we introduced Amy and Tyler to the game and they loved it as well. The guys won this game. It wasn't long after the game I hit the showers and was soon ready for some horizontal lab. The pot roast supper was delicious with plenty of leftover for another meal since Tyler and Sam are leaving Sunday morning for a 4 day hike on the Appalachian Trail, LATER
