Well Thursday was a busy day that ended up with us watching our three Ross grand kiddos and what a fun evening that was. I have developed either an allergy or a chest cold which has caused me to cough and now a deep voice which I hope is just a minor cold, oh well.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my morning routines that start with a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric and now a slice of fresh ginger root while I posted the this ramble and then lifted up several by name to my Creator during my quiet moments to reflect and give thanks. All seem as well as can be expected due to certain circumstances. We are getting ready for loads of company over the weekend as we have Nancy's mom GG's funeral. We will have overnight guests for a few and then one being here a week. I certainly hope I don't infect anyone especially Arianne's new baby boy.
I headed out for the Rec. for two hours of continuous pickle ball play and left whupped by 10 AM. I think with all of this workout on the court the past 4 days in a row and then 3-4 hours in the sun in the garden after my workout has worn my resistance and allowed this whatever to invade my body. I'm hoping with taking some decongestant medicine and lots of Vit C as well as other supplements I can shake these symptoms before everyone gets together later on Friday and for the weekend.
Nancy wanted a couple new fans in the guests rooms as well as new smoke detector so I headed out and purchased all three and replaced the old fans through out the afternoon. She was at the store loading up on groceries as usual. I did hand water the gardens early in the morning before pickle ball and then again before heading out to the Ross hacienda around 5'ish. I did manage to watch the lightning win big in Tampa last evening. It wasn't long after a hot shower and a good dose of decongestant syrup I hit the sack and slept rather nicely despite the constant coughing throughout the evening, LATER
