Well today is the day that will change America either for the good if Trump wins or for more of the worst if he loses. I don't understand how anyone can support the Clinton Crime Family which has been around for 30 years or more, oh well.
Monday started with we rolling out around 6 ish once again as I slept a little better with change of scenery and beds. It always takes me a few days to get use to the a/c running at night despite it being rather quiet. I did my morning routines that started with my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent a few quiet minutes with my Creator lifting up several by name, especially Paw Paw as he is now back in the V.A. hospital in Martinsburg, W.VA. They did some procedures on him yesterday to determine where and why he was losing blood and then he needs to see a urologist so he can get off the catheter. Keep him in your prayers as he is rather weak. There are several others to numerous too mention in this ramble but our paralyzed friend Eddie always needs lifting up as well. Afterwards I got ready to ride out to the Rec. on my bike for some pickle ball.
Initially I was the only one there until about 8:30 so I worked out on an elliptical. Finally a few showed and then we had a total of 10 players. It was good to get back on the court and the play was rather good. I stayed until 9:30 then stopped by the library on my way home. It was really a nice day with almost no humidity and few high clouds help keep the sun somewhat shaded. I took off for Home Depot for some new fence posts, bagged cow manure and some seeds and seedlings. I spent the rest of the morning and afternoon working outside. Nancy was watching LeLe(Eliza Faye) while Amy shopped. They were playing doll babies when I got home and she then helped Nancy to hang the laundry on the clothesline. It was a perfect day for drying clothes the old fashion way and she was a big help handing her the clothes.
I dug two post holes then fastened the two broken posts to the new ones to stabilize the fence. It was time to start turning over different sections of garden with a shovel. Luckily this soil is so sandy and no rocks so it didn't take long to get an area ready for some sweet white and red onion seedlings. These are the best tasting onions and I've had really good success growing them in this sandy soil. Each bundle has about 30-40 seedlings and you need at least a 4 inch by 4 inch space for each seedling. I made two separate rows with half of each variety to see which side of the garden grows them the best. I have a shade area in the middle of the garden from the big oak so one side gets the morning sun and the other side the evening sun. I also spaded up enough area for two rows of bush beans and then sowed sugar peas along the chain link fence line. I also sowed three kinds of lettuces and have a 9 pack of cabbages, a large black egg plant and a jalapeno pepper to get in the ground today(tue). The tomato plants I put in the ground when we were here in Sept are doing well and I tied them up. I have one fruit set on a plant next to the side garden thanks to neighbor Carol who gave it a shot of water occasionally. The other plants did well but have no fruit set as of yet.
I stopped briefly for a lite lunch of salad only with no bread or crackers and for supper we ate the leftover baked taters fried along with the green beans and beets from the cabin garden. I'm determined to lose these extra 10 pounds this winter and that will start with portion control and exercise. We tuned into the Fox News and the same old garbage about this election. I honestly think it's already a fix with rigged voting booths and ballots. These elites want her elected so they came remain in their corrupt control of the nation and that she will never be prosecuted because of all the dirt she blackmails them with. It's a disgrace and the world sees it as well as most folks who love the nation. GOD HELP US, LATER
