Well Monday after a chilly start turned out to be another beautiful day with moderate temps in the upper 60's and lots of sunshine. I got in a lot of work outside as I dug and hauled 3 golf cart loads of dirt and cut down a mid size dead hemlock tree in the back woods area and got most of its sawed up in pieces for the burn pile.
I started the day with my usual 6'ish rollout to my routines that start with some quiet time after posting this ramble and then finished up with a solo hike to the top of the mountain. It was an early morning chilly hike but we got in another hike around 3'ish with the Nymark's as we hiked the entire mountain and across it. The Botbyl's were off doing their thing in Sparta and eventually to Galax and got back while we were on our hike. We pulled supper again at our place as Sheri brought some delicious beef on a bun with all the fixin's as well as sauteed pea pods and salad fixin's. It was a delicious supper with leftovers once again for a lunch. We did get in some face time with Bobby and family while we were playing cards. The boys were wild to say the least.
Afterwards we played Euchre and the gals won 2 out of 3 and then we played 2 games of OH -ELL which the guys won both and Steve was the highest scorer both times. It was a hoot and we decided to call it a night around 9:30 as the Nymark's left for their camp ground. I hit the shower and was soon ready for some horizontal lab as everyone else watched TV, Later
