Well I'm usually loading in for BridgePoint Church this time of the day but since we are not having any services at the college or at any of the campuses, we will head out around 8 for down town St.Pete to the Mahaffey Theater where we will have a 9 ish meeting and then attend the 11 service and work the 2 service. There is a service every two hours today and 4 tomorrow. We are expecting over 14 thousand to attend these free services but having a ticket is necessary as seating is limited to each service of around 2500 seats. This is a big occasion for our church and now a tradition for the past several years.
Saturday was a chilly morning to start and eventually it warmed up the the low 60's with some bright sunshine at times. We did hang laundry on the line and with the wind and sun they did dry. I headed out to the rec around 8 for a good hour of play but so many newbies started to clog the courts I left around 9:30 and headed home. I piddled around in the garden after hanging a couple loads of laundry. We ate a nice fresh garden salad for lunch then I harvested more of the same along with a handful of radishes which actually matured for a change, usually its all tops and no fruit. I still have a lot of greens that haven't matured yet. I did loosen up the soil around many of the the plants then headed into read until it was time to head up to the Botbyl's for a supper of pizza and salad. They were babysitting their new grand daughter and the new baby boy of their daughters friend as well.
Patrick came down for a visit as Kathryn was in Chicago for a funeral for a family member. We held and played with the babies then I headed home while Nancy stayed to help as the grand daughter was fussy while other one mainly slept after eating. It was after 10 before Nancy got home as I had fallen asleep while watching some TV. I hit the sack after a shower around 10'ish when she came in and awaken me. The neighbors behind us was having an outside party in the yard with loud music and games and I'm sure some heavy drinking which went on until after midnight, oh well.
Today will be a busy fun filled worshipful day. Amy and family made it to an overnight motel stop safely and then they will finish the drive later this evening for their two week visit with his family in Kansas, LATER
