Well we are getting ready to head out for the Shenandoah Valley in a couple of hours so this ramble will be on the short side plus there really wasn't a whole lot to talk about. The rain and fog left during the morning hours on Wednesday so we got ready to head to town(Sparta) to pick up sourdough bread we had ordered from Becca's and go to the library. We stopped off at our "mountain moms" for a few before heading back to the cabin for a tasty lunch of bacon, egg, green pepper and onion on toasted sour dough bread. Yeow one of our favorites.
The morning started with my usual routines of my cup of hot turmeric drink, the posting of this ramble and then a few quiet moments with my Creator. We had a lite breakfast of boring oatmeal while watching the Olympics and getting ready for a quick trip to town. We did get in a hike in the afternoon and sat and visited with the Browning's for a spell. We made it back down off the mountain just as the rains started once again. We decided to have Salmon along with sauteed' yellow squash and a salad for our supper. It was mostly watch the events on the tube until it was time for a shower and then some reading before lights out for me at 10'ish.
We leave for 4 days of visits with family and some new roads to travel as we head off the mountain. I'm not sure if I will have time to make posts of the daily ramble but we will see as to the availability of time and space, LATER
