Well Saturday started out with a lite rain which finally turned to drizzle and then by the late afternoon the sun actually appeared for the first time in a couple days, WOW was that ever nice to see after 3 1/2 inches of rain. I did my morning routines minus the solo hike and then we got ready and headed to Galax, Va. to stock up once again at Walmart as company arrives on Monday for the next two weeks. Not much going on except trying to stay warm and dry until later in the day when I was able to take a solo hike to the top of the mountain. I notice lots of limbs and tons of leaves on the ground both in the woods and on the road and a large tree was down across the road leading up to Sheri and Steve's place. I'll cut it up on Monday morning before they arrive.
I checked out their place and nothing seemed out of place except some limbs and lots of leaves were evident from the wind and rain from the past couple of days from the storm which passed through. It was still rather chilly at 55 degrees but was nice to finally see some sunshine. I tuned into some college football for the rest of the afternoon and evening up until bedtime. Not much to report except the heat is on and the breeze made it feel even colder, LATER
