Well Saturday was busy fun filled day that found us with a delicious smoked rib lunch with the family at Amy and Tyler's as we got to celebrate what Sam wanted on his birthday supper before we all headed out to St.Pete to watch Annsley perform in her last gymnastic's meet for this year. It was a bit nippy to start the day but eventually warmed up and by late afternoon the clouds and a lite rain had moved into the area. Nothing like we needed and wanted but just enough moisture on the road to dirty up the truck as we drove home last evening so now it needs washed.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to a lite breakfast after my usual routines that had me with my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted the ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator. Afterwards I heated up some grits and a couple soft boiled eggs and mixed the two with some hot sauce and then headed outside to work in the yards and gardens until noon. I knew we were having a late lunch which turned out to be delicious with smoked ribs, potato casserole, Cole slaw and corn on the cob and then cup cakes and ice cream for dessert. That held me the rest of the day until 1'ish this Sunday afternoon except for a donut at church about 10'ish this morning. After lunch we headed out around 3:30 for the venue where several hundred folks were meeting to watch this all girls meet meet. Annsley did a great job and took second place in the floor exercise and a couple 4th out of 16 girls and in her level she got 4th overall for the meet. What a great job she did as she participated in four routines; the beam, floor exercise, vault and bars. The meet took about 3 hours and then another hour for the award ceremony.
After a hot shower I was soon ready for some horizontal lab as we had moved the clocks up an hour when getting home around 9'ish. I was up at 5 the morning as I helped load in at the college for BridgePoint and then we were working a tent at the Seminole Pow Wow festival at 11 AM as we passed out info on the church and welcomed folks to the campus for Easter. It's time for a quick power nap before harvesting greens for a salad for supper with the Botbyl's this evening, LATER
