Well Friday was a stay home day on the hill except for a mid morning hike to the top. I got in some work in the yards and some reading time on the front porch. We did get some more rain in the evening and the temps dropped with the overcast skies; but it was another memorable day with such beauty being surrounded with nature.
The update on GG was great and Nancy was able to see her via this smart phone. She is doing well and acclimating to her new surrounding as well and just loves the facility. Grand daughter Erica comes three times a day with a different child to visit her for short periods as she just walks across the street. The food she says is great and she is back to eating and taking some form of PT twice a day. We are hoping she will soon get on her feet and get her legs back as well and get to the bathroom; but that will take awhile as she has been in bed since May 21st.
We had a great breakfast to start the day after our quite times and catching up on our social media contacts. Its hard to believe August is just around the corner and summer is quickly slipping away. We headed up the mountain for our daily hike which hasn't been daily the past couple of days. The rain kept us away yesterday and the tire muscles the day before, oh well. This up and down the stairs is giving us some form of exercise plus the hills around the cabin. I did walk the property several times after lunch when I use the spreader to lime and fertilize all of the yards. I worked up another good sweat and just as I finished a lite rain fell; perfect timing to get those nutrients down to the roots and then again later in the evening we got a nice constant soaking rain.
Well we finished up some leftovers and I fried some fish fillets on the grill for our supper. Delicious. Afterwards with the soft rain on the roof we settled into the FOX Cable News and learned our president is shaking things up in D.C. once again which I think is great. I love the fact he is not your beholding to anyone politician and is doing what he thinks is best to get the country on the right foot once again and make us great. He is destroying or attempting to destroy these ruthless gangs called MS-13 who the last potus gave exemptions to enter the country and now they have a foot hold in the nation killing unmerciful. It's sad day when our folks in the "blue family" are murdered needlessly as well and all this comes from the lack of empathy from the last potus as well and his disregard for keeping this class safe.
Well that was about it for this day as the Ray's once again lost to the Yankees after being ahead in the last inning and then again last night they lost big, oh well, LATER
