Wednesday Morning May 26th

Well we've been here two whole days and its starting to shape up at least for outside in the yards. I've managed along with Nancy's help to get most of the flower beds weeded except for one large one which we will attempt to do today after the huge rain that lasted for hours. At one time it was pouring buckets and we have a river going down the driveway. I'm curious if the hill washed out which usually happens when it rains this hard and for so long.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my morning routines that start with a cup of green tea which I post this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up by name. I haven't heard any change to those who we've been lifting up for comfort and healing. I did  stupid thing yesterday that resulted in a large piece of skin between my thumb and fore finger to be pinched out, yikes did that ever hurt and of course resulted in me lessening the affect of work with my right hand.

The large clumps of grass from the flower beds I placed in some of the bare spots where grass was having a difficult growing where we last year took out several large trees and then used a stump grinder. Grass hasn't come in completely in those areas so I used those nice clumps to seed them. I did sow marigolds this year in one bed  and zinnias in another so we are excited to see if they will make. The circle bed we will purchase potted annuals and some perennials to replace the ones that did not come back. We were going to hike before supper but we were just whupped and the skies looked like rain which did occur just about the time we were going to head out.

After a supper of salmon, beets and broccoli I tuned into the Ray's game and they finally lost a game after being on a winning side the last several games. After a hot shower and the end of the game I was ready for some horizontal lab. This rain was welcomed event as it washed away lots of the pine tree pollen which had coated every thing yellow, LATER
