Monday Morning

Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship, visiting with family friends and once again good eatin' with home grown veggies and the best sweet corn ever. The scenery was awesome once again and we traveled some old roads and even visited the old home place. We were there 6 years ago and we met the owner outside who by the way was armed either for snakes or visitors, but either way there is seldom any visitors at the end of the road which goes through some wooded land. It was a good visit and he had been there for the past 15 years who has made some drastic changes to the landscape.

We rode some old dirt roads which I use to travel in my youth then headed over to Wardensville W.Va where we met up Paw Paw and his lady friend Adeline at the local eatery. We had a great lunch along with much of the county. After a good lunch we headed back to the Woodbine Market where we stocked up on fresh home grown sweet corn and some delicious baked cookies.

We settled into a supper around 6:30 of very tasty zucchini boats loaded with ground turkey, tomato sauce, herbs and parmesan cheese, Yeow Delicious and then some corn on the cob. Well after the cleanup we settled into some Euchre and the gals took two straight games and then we manage to win a consolation  game. It was soon shower time around 10'ish.
