Sunday Morning May 16th

Well this time next week I'm hoping we will have been on the road for two hours as we leave around 4 in the morning. Its now 6 AM here in hot humid Central Florida as I make this post. We had the whole family over last evening to celebrate Amy's 38th birthday with a sauerkraut, pork rib, kielbasa and hot dogs as well a smashed tater supper with fresh garden salad and biscuits. A chocolate cake with pink icing and two kinds of ice cream. There goes the spare tire but we sent the leftover cake home with Amy.

I started Saturday much the usual with a well before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. I got ready and headed out to the Rec for two hours of pickle ball play and afterwards headed home to piddle around in the back yard and garden hand watering and harvesting tomato's.

There wasn't much to do except help Nancy get ready for the family around 4'ish so I read and then tuned into the Ray's game which came on the TV early. They won the game 12-5 as their bats exploded against a good Mets team from N.Y. Bobby and Amy's family all came about the same time and the house was full to say the least with toys every where. The twins love being able to mingle and go from room to room where at their house they are confined to one room due to the many step down stairs. The big kids each get a room where they share video games and and what ever they do at that age. We shared some cheese and crackers as well as some fruit of the vine before we ate around around 5'ish. The meal was delicious and even Betsy stopped by to eat with us on her way home from the post office. We sent a plate home for Gus as well.

Bobby gave the boys a bath around 6:30 then put them in their PJ's as they would go right to bed upon getting back to Brandon. Amy and the family left shortly as well but Betsy hung around another hour or two. I headed out to hand water and repot a couple tomato seedlings for the summer garden then settled into to UFC and hockey until shower time around 9'ish.

Today will be our last Sunday morning meeting at the new campus for BridgePoint until next November. We will miss all of our friends and the grand opening in June for the new campus but we will reconnect with our mountain friends and Cornerstone family there, LATER
