Wednesday Morning Oct 23rd

Well Tuesday was another total work day with some shopping thrown in the mix and it did get up there in temps with the 80's, but no rain and lots of sunshine and blue skies. There was a decent breeze which made for outside work bearable at times. I brought back to Lowes some left over tile and other items which paid for my 20 some veggie plants for the gardens.

I started the day with my usual before 6 rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all seem to be holding with this post. I headed out to give the seeds I sowed the other day a sprinkling of water as its very dry in the gardens and then once again put out more garbage cans of debris to the curb; here we have garbage pick up 3 times a week which makes it easy to get rid of instead of hauling it to the land fill 30 minutes away.

I installed two toilet paper holders and attached another mirror to the wall for Nancy inside the house and then put all of our luggage over head in the attic and then helped with hanging a couple loads of laundry outside on the clothes line. They dry within an hour here in this bright hot sunshine. The a/c is on constantly but at night its starting to cool down a little as the humidity hasn't been as strong as normally. I still have tons of yard work to do and during the hottest part of the day I do inside jobs or run errands. I did rotor till part of the gardens before supper, but have lots more to do before setting out the veggie seedlings/plants.

I'm going to need help to finish putting the shed back together as it will be at least a two man job . I bought a box of screws which I will use to piece it back and hopefully hold it together. Its one strong shed made of modeled plastic but when the huge tree limb smashed on top it broke all the screw holds but did not actually puncture a hole like I first thought from the original pics Amy sent me. It just broke apart the  pieces held together by screws, so now I'll use a different screw much longer in hopes it will hold and make the shed water proof again. I bought a can of spray sealant to help with that effect, oh well. It could have been much worst and the wooden fence took a beating but once those huge limbs that are leaning against it from the back side, I should be able to make it look decent with new slats.

Well I grilled a couple rib ey's we had brought back with us from the cabin and along with some Brussel sprouts we ate well. I sat outside in the shade of the huge oak thats still standing, but beat up badly by the wind and had a glass of vino, studying on what I next needed to do while grilling. I'm thinking of starting pickle ball next week when get back from 3 days in Brandon watching the twins. The evenings are great here as a sea breeze drops down the temps to comfortable. After the cleanup I checked on the news then hit the shower and was soon watching T.V. in my bedroom, as we have two here in Florida as opposed to just one at the cabin which Nancy hijacks during the evening. It was lights out for me before 10'ish, LATER
