Tuesday Morning Mar 23rd

Well Monday was another cool day with very little sunshine and the heat and humidity stayed away once again. Very unusual for this time of the year but the garden sure loves these cooler temps  and except for the wind it's perfect growing conditions. I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of green tea while I posted this ramble and then some quiet time with my Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. I'm noticed several of my old trooper friends and associates are dropping like flies as well as many of my classmates. I feel blessed that I can still run, play and work at my age which is now considered old by many standards, yikes where did that time go.

I headed out to the rec for two hours of solid pickle ball play and left with a wet head and shirt. I headed home to work outside in the gardens hand watering and transplanting a clump of mint I brought back from Bobby's garden. I love the smell of mint and do like it in ice tea which I seldom drink but will now add it to my water jug. Nancy was off shopping for the grand kids for Easter so I read then ate some leftovers for lunch. It was after 1 before she came back with sacks of goodies for them. I finished a read and started another one and then finished up my taxes for 2020 and emailed them. I'm getting a little back thanks to trump's tax reductions but I'm sure next year I will be paying with this fraud potus Biden's giving away our treasury to the illegals and thus his raise of taxes on the working class and the retirees. It's despicable how he is destroying the very fabric of our society with his open border and now giving citizenship to the illegals. I sure hope those who voted for this crook are happy.

We had leftovers for supper and then I settled into watching some of the March Madness games. A few were rather close and then a couple games I wondered how these teams ever got into a playoff. The Florida State team was one but they eventually won over Colorado team who beat the only team which took a knee during the national anthem, Georgetown. Serves them right to dishonor our flag and anthem, LATER
